Can someone please tell me where I can find the master config file.

I just reinstalled VBox after attending a training where vmware was
required.

Somehow the uninstall of VBox was not complete and the new VBox has traces
of the old install (like generating file not found errors for VMS that
don't exist, but did on the old config.

Thanks.

Where config files are placed depends on the host OS and VirtualBox version.

Typically $HOME/.VirtualBox/VirtualBox.xml

See section 10.1 of the manual for details, and an explanation of how to
decode "$HOME".
