compare and contrast vsphere and virtualbox

I'm currently using esxi and vSphere 5.5 but I'm really not happy with
it for variety of reasons

Is there an equivalent centralized management tool for virtual box? any
pointers on fees, support contracts etc.?

thank you for these pointers. I realized I was not fully clear on the
requirements. In 3/4 of the cases, a vm is a headless server. the rest
are virtual desktops. would you still recommend these solutions?
