Hello.

I began some hours ago to delete the snapshots I have of my virtualbox

no visible problem on the host.

but now the guest (web server) is unreachable. on the host, top shows 100% cpu
activity for the virtual machine (but it's the only use of the computer).

I can ping the guest

ping 192.168.56.2
PING 192.168.56.2 (192.168.56.2) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 192.168.56.2: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.870 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.56.2: icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=2.21 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.56.2: icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=2.29 ms

but not ssh in it (timeout).

this server is not critical, not a problem is it can't be reached for some
hours. acpi shut down do not give any result: not error, no message, no stop.
The machine is still seen as running by VBobManage

I would like to know if it's a normal reorganisation time inside the guest -in
that case I just have to wait- or if it's a crash and I have to kill the machine .

thanks

While a snapshot is being deleted, the VM is paused and not running.
After the snapshot is deleted, the VM will be resumed (un-paused).

If a snapshot has been deleted but the VM is still hung, but still paused,
perhaps try to resume it, but otherwise it may be hung.
